Detailed Itineraray

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to a luxurious hotel in Arusha. Take the rest of the day to unwind and soak in the anticipation of your upcoming journey.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After a hearty breakfast, journey to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its majestic elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. A thrilling game drive awaits you, where you’ll encounter wildlife such as lions, giraffes, zebras, and a diverse range of bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing with more game drives. Return to your lodge in the evening for a delectable dinner and relaxation.

Day 3: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park

Next, travel to Lake Manyara National Park, celebrated for its unique ecosystems and famous tree-climbing lions. Embark on morning and afternoon game drives to witness a variety of wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, and hippos. The park is also home to vibrant flamingos and other birdlife. After an exciting day, retreat to your lodge and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.

Day 4: Journey to Lake Natron

Depart for the dramatic Lake Natron, a remote and stunning destination surrounded by rugged landscapes and home to large flamingo populations. En route, explore local villages to get a sense of rural Tanzanian life. Upon arrival, settle into your tented camp overlooking the lake, where you’ll enjoy a peaceful sunset walk along its shores.

Day 5: Hike to Ngare Sero Waterfalls – Travel to Serengeti

After a scenic hike to the Ngare Sero Waterfalls, relax with a picnic lunch amidst nature’s beauty. Later, continue your journey to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. Keep an eye out for wildlife as you enter the park and check in at a luxury lodge or tented camp in the heart of the Serengeti.

Day 6: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Spend the day exploring the vast Serengeti. Embark on thrilling game drives to see iconic wildlife such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebras. As the day winds down, enjoy the spectacular Serengeti sunset before heading back to your luxurious camp or lodge for a relaxing evening.

Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Enjoy an early morning game drive in the Serengeti before heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, stop at the historic Olduvai Gorge, famous for its archaeological significance. Arrive at the Ngorongoro Crater rim and check into your lodge, which offers breathtaking views of the crater below.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater Exploration

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of wildlife viewing. The crater is teeming with wildlife, including the rare black rhino, lions, and elephants. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before continuing your game drive in the afternoon. Later, head to Lake Eyasi for an overnight stay.

Day 9: Cultural Immersion at Lake Eyasi

Begin the day with a cultural exploration around Lake Eyasi. Visit the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer communities, and learn about their traditional way of life. You’ll also meet the Datoga tribe, renowned for their metalworking skills. After this cultural journey, return to your lodge for dinner.

Day 10: Return to Arusha and Departure

After breakfast, journey back to Arusha. Enjoy some last-minute shopping or relaxation before being transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
